Setting objectives is just the first step on our journey toward change.




Streamlining complex public health networks. Developing strategies to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Establishing new models for suicide prevention. These are but a few of the initiatives Civilian has proudly undertaken, in partnership with dedicated service organizations such as the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA) and the San Diego Health & Human Services Agency (SD HHSA).


If there’s one thing we’ve learned at Civilian, it’s that causes come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes they focus on a person or group... but other times, causes target the welfare of a city, county, or state. Working with partners such as San Jose International Airport, the L.A. Zoo and Carlsbad Visitor’s Bureau provides us with an opportunity to elevate the commercial and cultural vitality of entire regions for the benefit of all.


In the ever-evolving world of business, many of today’s most prominent brands are choosing to pursue a more meaningful purpose, by connecting with and empowering the communities they serve. Activating that purpose and turning intent into real, sustainable change is one of Civilian’s greatest strengths. In partnership with your organization, we evolve and advance your outreach for the greatest possible impact.


Few issues on the planet are as pressing and precarious as...well, the health and welfare of this planet. For that reason, Civilian endeavors to conserve and protect it, through our efforts with organizations and agencies such as PaintCare, the OES (Office of Emergency Services), and L.A. Metro Transit.
